Global Maths Week Challenge

What is the Global Maths Week Challenge?

As part of Mangahigh Global Maths Week, we are running an online maths competition for schools from around the world to compete on, with a chance to win some amazing prizes.

Students complete maths activities and games on which awards points that contribute to your school’s total. This then helps your school top the international leaderboard and become the Global Maths Week Challenge champions!

When is the Global Maths Week Challenge?

The challenge runs from 00:01 GMT 7th November 2022 to 23:59 GMT 15th November 2022.

Is there a cost to enter?

Schools with a current paid Mangahigh subscription will be able to enter the Challenge at no additional cost.

For new schools to take part in the Global Maths Week Challenge,  there is a one off fee per school. This payment can be made via credit card or an invoice. Please see the table below for the fees:
















How many teachers/students need to participate from each school?

There is no minimum number of students needed to participate, but you are encouraged to enrol as many teachers and students as possible to help your school top the leaderboard.

There will be two main leaderboards for the competition; one for schools with 250 or less students participating and the other for schools with 251 or more students participating. These numbers are determined when you enter your school/class into the competition on the website.

What do I need to do to participate?

Fill in your school details on the Global Maths Week website to get involved with the Challenge. Those with an existing Mangahigh subscription do not have to pay the one-off registration fee.

What types of activities are available on Mangahigh?

Mangahigh offers 1000+ engaging mathematical games and activities for children aged 5 -16. All content is aligned to various international curricula and has been carefully engineered through years of research and expertise in order to get your students excited, engaged and excelling at maths!

What locations are eligible to participate?

This event is open to schools all over the world! All main communications regarding the competition will be in English, but Mangahigh is also provided in Spanish, German and Portuguese.
